Still Employed? ("we", "us", "our") is a daily employment check-in app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

What We Collect

Account information: Email address, display name or username, job title, company name, and profile image URL.

Profile details: Emergency contact email and relationship, skills (up to 8).

User content: Posts, comments, reactions (including anonymous ones), and direct messages.

Activity data: Check-in streaks, grind coins balance, coin transactions, and PMF survey responses.

Feedback: Category, message, contact info, and your streak/coins at time of submission.

Fire events: Name, role, company, city, country, and approximate coordinates (if provided).

How We Use It

• Provide and operate the app (check-ins, streaks, community features)
• Authenticate your account via one-time passcodes sent by email
• Send transactional emails (OTP codes, fired notifications, feedback alerts)
• Improve the product based on aggregated usage and survey feedback

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles.

Cookies & Storage

We use a single HTTP-only authentication cookie (se-token) to keep you signed in. It expires after 365 days. We do not use any third-party tracking cookies.

Local storage may be used to persist your theme preference and other non-sensitive app settings.

Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare Pages: Hosts the app and provides basic traffic analytics (page views, visitors). No personal data is collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics.
• Plausible Analytics: Privacy-focused analytics. No cookies, no personal data, fully GDPR compliant.
• Resend: Sends transactional emails (OTP codes, notifications). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party tracking tools.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. OTP codes are temporary and expire shortly after generation. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
